Food Security
At Harvest Trust, we focus on tackling the issue of food insecurity by providing underserved communities access to nutritious and affordable food. We work with local farmers and food distributors to source fresh produce and other healthy food options for areas where obtaining nutritious and affordable meals is almost impossible.
With the support of our partners and donors, we create co-ops, markets, and food banks to ensure everyone has access to the food they need to lead a fulfilling life. Along with establishing food markets, our team prioritizes communities, shelters, and schools to deliver on our mission of addressing inequity in our food system.
Renewable Energy
Energy poverty is a major issue that affects millions of communities worldwide, particularly low-income families. We look to solar energy and other renewable energy as a solution to this problem by providing clean and affordable energy. However, the high upfront costs and complex financial, economic, and legal challenges make it difficult for communities to access the benefits of solar power.
Our team works to address and remove the barriers to ensure access to clean, renewable energy for all. Harvest Trust delivers, installs, and maintains solar and renewal energy sources in order to reduce utility costs of communities, invests on the planet's future, and ensure families have access to resources.
